Northern Virginia Fortune Seekers
Sweeptakes Convention
BANNER CONTEST!!!

Here are our winners!

I need HELP! I totally suck at making banners!

I asked someone to make a pretty banner for me so I can use it to link to the site for the 13th Annual Sweepstakes Convention.

Three talented sweepers helped me out.

Here are our winners!
(Voting began Sept. 5 and ended 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time Sept. 20.)

  • First Place
    • W. Limauge, Connecticut, wins a book of stamps and a 30-minute phone card.

  • Second Place
    • scoggins4, Texas, wins a book of stamps.

  • Third Place
    • P. Honaker, Georgia, wins a book of stamps.

.
Here are the RULES entrants had to follow:
  • One entry per person, so give me your best.
  • Open only to U.S. residents of any age. (No sense in sending postage stamps to someone who can't use them.)
  • Deadline for entries was midnight Eastern Time, Aug. 31, 2001.
    • You must either email me the banner or give me the URL so I can copy it and upload it to my server. (I won't link to your server.)
    • By entering you give me permission to display your banner on the any and all of my sites until May 21, 2002, a couple of days after the convention ends.
  • Banner must be a gif no larger than 468 pixels wide and 60 pixels high.
  • You must submit your email address, first name, last name and state with your entry, but only your first initial, last name (or a G-rated alias) and state will be posted on this page and on the voting page.
  • All submissions must be G-rated. I decide which banners will be entered into the contest, but I'm only looking to eliminate artwork that might be offensive.

Here is basically what I ran previouslyr:

Join us in Louisville, Ky., for the
13th Annual Sweepstakes Convention!
(You can use your own wording in your banner submission.)

And this actually is NOT a banner -- just looks sort of like one.
